About Formuler
What is a media streamer?
A media streamer is a device that plugs into your TV via HDMI and runs streaming apps — basically turning any TV into a smart TV without the cable subscription. Formuler boxes are dedicated media streamers built for 4K HDR playback and the full Google Play Store app library.
Why choose Formuler?
Formuler boxes are built specifically for streaming, not as general-purpose tablets or sticks. Is Formuler legal in Canada and the USA?
Yes. A Formuler box is a legal Android streaming device sold by authorized retailers, and Formuler.vip is the authorized distributor for Canada and the USA. What you watch on it depends on the services you subscribe to: licensed streaming apps and licensed TV providers are legal; unlicensed streams are not.
Do you sell IPTV subscriptions? Does a Formuler box need a subscription?
No. Formuler.vip is an authorized hardware distributor — we sell Formuler streaming boxes only, not subscriptions of any kind, and no subscription is included or required to use the box. Netflix, Disney+, YouTube and the other Play Store apps work out of the box with your own accounts. MYTVOnline only needs a provider if you choose to add one. See our MYTVOnline guide.
How do I order a Formuler box?
Browse our shop all Formuler boxes, pick the model that fits your needs, add it to your cart, and check out. Most orders ship within 1 business day from our Ottawa warehouse.
Shipping & Delivery
Is shipping really free?
Yes — free standard shipping in Canada and the USA on every Formuler box, shipped from Ottawa. US orders of 20 units or fewer are delivered duty-paid: Formuler.vip covers import duties and brokerage, so nothing is collected at your door.
How long does shipping take?
Canada: 2-5 business days for standard, 1-2 for express. USA: 4-8 business days for standard, 2-4 for express. International: 5-8 business days. See our full shipping page for details.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes — to 18 countries in Europe and Oceania (UK, Germany, France, Netherlands, Australia, etc.) via UPS Express Saver flat $70 CAD. International orders are limited to single-unit retail products.
How do I track my order?
You'll receive a tracking number by email once we ship. Click the link to track your package in real time via the carrier (Canada Post, UPS, or USPS).

How much does a Formuler Z12 Ultra cost in Canada?
$359.99 CAD at Formuler.vip, shipping included. Open-box units are $305.99 CAD with the same 2-year warranty. Prices are in Canadian dollars; US customers see the USD equivalent at checkout.
Does the box come with a remote?
Yes — every box ships with the remote Formuler specifies for that model. The Z10 and Z11 Pro come with the GTV-IR1 infrared learning remote. The Z mini, GTV 4K, Z12 Pro and Z11 Pro Max BT1 include the GTV-BT1 Bluetooth voice remote. The Z12 Ultra and Z12 Ultra SE ship with the backlit GTV-BT3 voice remote. Hardware & Compatibility
Will it work with my older non-4K TV?
Yes. All Formuler boxes auto-detect your TV's resolution and output 1080p or 720p as needed via the HDMI cable. You get a modern streaming experience even on older sets.
Does it support Dolby Vision and HDR?
The Z12 Ultra and Z12 Ultra SE support Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and HLG. The Z12 Pro, Z11 Pro, Z11 Pro Max BT1, Z10 and Z mini support HDR10+ and HLG; the GTV 4K supports HDR10+. Check each product page for the exact HDR specs.
Does Netflix work in 4K on a Formuler box?
Yes. Every current Formuler box is Widevine L1 certified, which is what Netflix, Disney+ and Prime Video require for HD and 4K playback. On the Z12 Ultra and Z12 Ultra SE, Netflix titles that carry Dolby Vision play in Dolby Vision on a compatible TV.
Does it have Bluetooth? Can I pair headphones, a keyboard, or a gamepad?
Yes. All Z-series and GTV 4K boxes have Bluetooth and support standard pairing for headphones, keyboards, mice, and gamepads.
What's the difference between Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 6E?
Wi-Fi 6E adds the 6GHz band on top of 2.4 and 5GHz, giving you a less-congested channel for 4K streaming if your router supports it. The Z12 Ultra and Z12 Ultra SE have Wi-Fi 6E, the Z11 Pro Max BT1 has Wi-Fi 6, and the other models have Wi-Fi 5.
Can I connect via Ethernet for a more stable connection?
Yes on every model except the Z mini, which is Wi-Fi only. The Z12 Ultra, Z12 Ultra SE, Z12 Pro, Z11 Pro Max BT1, Z11 Pro and GTV 4K have Gigabit Ethernet; the Z10 has a 100 Mbps port. We recommend wired connections for the smoothest 4K playback.
What ports does the box have?
Typical kit: HDMI out, USB 3.0 and USB 2.0, Ethernet, microSD slot, and power. The Z12 Ultra and Z12 Ultra SE add optical S/PDIF audio out; the Z11 Pro and Z11 Pro Max add an IR extension port. Exact ports vary by model — check the product page or the comparison table.
Setup & Daily Use
How long does setup take?
About 5 minutes: plug in HDMI and power, connect Wi-Fi or Ethernet, sign in to your Google account, and you're done. We have a step-by-step setup guide on the blog.
Will it work with my soundbar or AV receiver?
Yes. Pass-through HDMI handles Dolby Digital, DTS, and (on the Z12 Ultra and Z12 Ultra SE) Dolby Atmos. Use HDMI into your soundbar/receiver, or the optical S/PDIF out on the Z12 Ultra and Z12 Ultra SE.
Does it support voice search?
Yes on models that ship with a Bluetooth voice remote (Z mini, GTV 4K, Z12 Pro, Z11 Pro Max BT1, Z12 Ultra SE, Z12 Ultra). The Z10 and Z11 Pro ship with the infrared GTV-IR1 remote, which has no microphone; add a GTV-BT1 remote for voice search.
My remote stopped working or won't pair. What do I do?
Follow our Formuler remote troubleshooting guide: battery check, BT1/BT3 pairing mode (hold OK + MENU until the LED blinks), TV control setup in the Formuler Remote app, and factory reset steps.
Can I cast from my phone?
The GTV 4K has built-in Chromecast for casting from any Android or iOS app that supports it. Z-series boxes can use third-party apps for similar functionality.
Can I install apps from the Play Store?
Yes — every box has Google Play access: Android on the Z series, Google-certified Android TV 12 on the GTV 4K.
What can I do with a Formuler box?
Stream from your favourite video apps in the Google Play Store, watch YouTube, browse the web, play Android games, listen to music apps, and access cloud-based services. Anything an Android TV device can do, a Formuler box can do, plus live TV through MYTVOnline on the Z series.
How do I update the firmware?
Updates are over-the-air. The box notifies you when one is available; you can also check manually in Settings → Device Preferences → About → System update.
Warranty & Returns
How long is the warranty?
2 year full manufacturer warranty on every Formuler box. See our warranty page for what's covered.
What if my box arrives defective?
Contact us within 7 days of delivery for an immediate DOA (dead on arrival) replacement. We'll cover all shipping costs both ways.
Can I return a box if I change my mind?
Yes — 30-day return policy on all purchases. The box must be in original condition with all packaging and accessories.
Do you have an exchange policy?
Yes. Within 30 days of delivery you can exchange your box for a different model. Pay (or get refunded) the price difference, and ship the original back in original condition with all packaging and accessories.
Who pays for return shipping?
We do. Contact us for an RMA number and we email you a prepaid return label for returns and exchanges within 30 days, and for DOA and warranty claims. Refunds are issued within 5-10 business days of receiving the return.
Payment & Billing
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal. For wholesale orders, we can also arrange invoice-based payment terms — contact us.
Is my payment secure?
Yes. We use Shopify's PCI-compliant checkout. Your payment information is encrypted and never stored on our servers.
Do you offer business invoices or pay-by-purchase-order?
Yes — for wholesale and B2B orders we issue invoices with HST/GST itemized. Contact us to arrange.
Is tax included in the listed price?
Canadian prices shown are pre-tax; HST/GST is added at checkout based on your province. US orders of 20 units or fewer ship duty-paid with no fees at the border.
Can I buy this as a gift?
Absolutely. Add a note at checkout if you'd like a gift receipt without prices, and we'll include it.
Wholesale & Reseller
Do you offer wholesale pricing?
Yes — wholesale pricing is built into our store. Reseller multi-packs (2, 4, 10) are priced for small resellers. Distributor bulk (20, 50, 100) is priced for high-volume buyers. For Pack of 50 and Pack of 100, contact us for a custom quote.
Do you offer bulk discounts for businesses (hotels, AirBnBs, etc.)?
Yes — see our multi-packs and bulk packs, or apply for wholesale pricing if you regularly buy in volume.
Can I become a Formuler reseller?
Yes. Apply via our wholesale application — we onboard small resellers, online retailers, hospitality buyers, and large distributors.
Do you ship wholesale internationally?
Currently, wholesale orders ship within Canada and the USA. For international wholesale inquiries, please contact us directly to discuss freight and import logistics.
