What is a media streamer?

A media streamer is a device that plugs into your TV via HDMI and runs streaming apps — basically turning any TV into a smart TV without the cable subscription. Formuler boxes are dedicated media streamers built for 4K HDR playback and the full Google Play Store app library.

Why choose Formuler?

Formuler boxes are built specifically for streaming, not as general-purpose tablets or sticks. You get dedicated 4K HDR hardware, gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6 or 6E on higher models, a real remote (voice on the Z11 Pro Max BT1, Z12 Ultra, and GTV 4K), and full Android TV or Google TV — no proprietary OS, no lock-in.

Do you sell IPTV subscriptions?

No. Formuler.vip is an authorized hardware distributor — we sell Formuler streaming boxes only, not subscriptions of any kind. What you choose to install or subscribe to after that is up to you.

How do I order a Formuler box?

Browse our shop, pick the model that fits your needs, add it to your cart, and check out. Most orders ship within 1 business day from our Ottawa warehouse.

Shipping & Delivery

Is shipping really free?

Yes — free standard shipping in Canada (on orders $75+) and the USA (on orders $100+). No customs fees, no extra charges. The price you see at checkout is the final price.

How long does shipping take?

Canada: 2-5 business days for standard, 1-2 for express. USA: 4-8 business days for standard, 2-4 for express. International: 5-8 business days. See our full shipping page for details.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes — to 18 countries in Europe and Oceania (UK, Germany, France, Netherlands, Australia, etc.) via UPS Express Saver flat $70 CAD. International orders are limited to single-unit retail products.

How do I track my order?

You'll receive a tracking number by email once we ship. Click the link to track your package in real time via the carrier (Canada Post, UPS, or USPS).

Which Formuler box should I buy?

It depends on your TV and use case. The short version:

  • Z10 ($154.99): cheapest, solid 4K HDR for second TVs.
  • Z mini ($174.99): compact, great for hotels and tight spaces.
  • GTV 4K ($199.99): Google-certified with Chromecast.
  • Z11 Pro ($219.99): best value 4K HDR pick.

Does the box come with a remote?

Yes — every box ships with the remote appropriate for that model. The Z10, Z mini, and GTV 4K come with a standard IR remote. The Z11 Pro Max BT1 includes the BT1 Bluetooth voice remote. The Z12 Ultra ships with the BT3 backlit voice remote.

Hardware & Compatibility

Will it work with my older non-4K TV?

Yes. All Formuler boxes auto-detect your TV's resolution and output 1080p or 720p as needed via the HDMI cable. You get a modern streaming experience even on older sets.

Does it support Dolby Vision and HDR?

The Z12 Ultra supports Dolby Vision, HDR10, HDR10+, and HLG. The Z11 Pro and Z11 Pro Max BT1 support HDR10 and HLG. Check each product page for the exact HDR specs.

Does it have Bluetooth? Can I pair headphones, a keyboard, or a gamepad?

Yes. All Z-series and GTV 4K boxes have Bluetooth and support standard pairing for headphones, keyboards, mice, and gamepads.

What's the difference between Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 6E?

Wi-Fi 6E adds the 6GHz band on top of 2.4 and 5GHz, giving you a less-congested channel for 4K streaming if your router supports it. The Z12 Ultra has Wi-Fi 6E; most other models have Wi-Fi 5 or 6.

Can I connect via Ethernet for a more stable connection?

Yes. Every Formuler box has a gigabit Ethernet port. We recommend wired connections for the smoothest 4K playback.

What ports does the box have?

Standard kit: HDMI 2.1 out, USB 3.0, USB 2.0, gigabit Ethernet, optical S/PDIF audio out, microSD slot (model-dependent), and power. Exact ports vary by model — check the product page.

Setup & Daily Use

How long does setup take?

About 5 minutes: plug in HDMI and power, connect Wi-Fi or Ethernet, sign in to your Google account, and you're done. We have a step-by-step setup guide on the blog.

Will it work with my soundbar or AV receiver?

Yes. Pass-through HDMI handles Dolby Digital, DTS, and (on supported models) Dolby Atmos. Use either HDMI eARC into your soundbar/receiver or the optical S/PDIF out.

Does it support voice search?

Yes on models that ship with a voice remote (Z11 Pro Max BT1, Z12 Ultra, GTV 4K). The standard IR remote on Z10 and Z mini doesn't have a microphone.

Can I cast from my phone?

The GTV 4K has built-in Chromecast for casting from any Android or iOS app that supports it. Z-series boxes can use third-party apps for similar functionality.

Can I install apps from the Play Store?

Yes — every box runs Android TV (Z-series) or Google TV (GTV 4K) with full Play Store access for apps and games.

What can I do with a Formuler box?

Stream from your favourite video apps in the Google Play Store, watch YouTube, browse the web, play Android games, listen to music apps, and access cloud-based services. Anything an Android TV or Google TV device can do, a Formuler box can do.

How do I update the firmware?

Updates are over-the-air. The box notifies you when one is available; you can also check manually in Settings → System → Updates.

Warranty & Returns

How long is the warranty?

2 year full manufacturer warranty on every Formuler box. See our warranty page for what's covered.

What if my box arrives defective?

Contact us within 7 days of delivery for an immediate DOA (dead on arrival) replacement. We'll cover all shipping costs both ways.

Can I return a box if I change my mind?

Yes — 30-day return policy on all purchases. The box must be in original condition with all packaging and accessories.

Do you have an exchange policy?

Yes. Within 30 days of delivery you can exchange your box for a different model. Pay (or get refunded) the price difference, and ship the original back in original condition with all packaging and accessories.

Who pays for return shipping?

For DOA (dead-on-arrival) replacements within 7 days, we cover shipping both ways. For change-of-mind returns or exchanges within 30 days, the customer pays return shipping.

Payment & Billing

What payment methods do you accept?

All major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal. For wholesale orders, we can also arrange invoice-based payment terms — contact us.

Is my payment secure?

Yes. We use Shopify's PCI-compliant checkout. Your payment information is encrypted and never stored on our servers.

Do you offer business invoices or pay-by-purchase-order?

Yes — for wholesale and B2B orders we issue invoices with HST/GST itemized. Contact us to arrange.

Is tax included in the listed price?

Canadian prices shown are pre-tax; HST/GST is added at checkout based on your province. US orders ship duty-paid with no surprise fees at the border.

Can I buy this as a gift?

Absolutely. Add a note at checkout if you'd like a gift receipt without prices, and we'll include it.

Wholesale & Reseller

Do you offer wholesale pricing?

Yes — wholesale pricing is built into our store. Reseller multi-packs (2, 4, 10) are priced for small resellers. Distributor bulk (20, 50, 100) is priced for high-volume buyers. For Pack of 50 and Pack of 100, contact us for a custom quote.

Do you offer bulk discounts for businesses (hotels, AirBnBs, etc.)?

Yes — see our multi-packs and bulk packs, or apply for wholesale pricing if you regularly buy in volume.

Can I become a Formuler reseller?

Yes. Apply via our wholesale application — we onboard small resellers, online retailers, hospitality buyers, and large distributors.

Do you ship wholesale internationally?

Currently, wholesale orders ship within Canada and the USA. For international wholesale inquiries, please contact us directly to discuss freight and import logistics.

For setup questions and general Formuler product info, we're glad to help. For warranty claims on products purchased elsewhere, please contact the original seller — warranty is tied to the place of purchase.
